The Bugaboos

About This Project

Tucked away in the middle of the Purcell mountain range in beautiful British Columbia is a hiking and climbing paradise. Park at the parking lot about an hour west of Radium and make sure to surround your car with chicken wire and rocks to ensure a porcupine doesn’t cut your brake lines (don’t worry there is a lot of chicken wire there, so you won’t need to bring your own). Then make the gruelling trek up towards the spires and glaciers that make The Bugaboos such an iconic place. There is a hut for those who want a bed for the night or for those slightly more adventurous there is an amazing campsite that sits under the main spire. This was by far one of the coolest places we visited in Canada. We definitely recommend this for anyone up for a weekend adventure.
